Los Alamos County Historical Museum

The Los Alamos Historical Society will be undertaking a general survey of the entire collection as a first step toward working with the county to build a new collections storage facility for the artifacts and documents highlighting the long history of the Los Alamos community. Conservators will assess the overall condition of the collections as well as conditions of the current storage space in order to make recommendations on space allocation and equipment for the planned facility. The survey will also allow the historical society to develop a long-range conservation plan for its collections.
