School for Advanced Research (Indian Arts Research Center)

The Indian Arts Research Center will use its grant to conduct a detailed condition survey of its Southwest American Indian textiles. The collection comprises Dine and Pueblo textiles. Pieces include ponchos, serapes, blankets, biils (woven dresses), mantas, kilts; and Hopi övas and pusalas.
