Historic House Trust of New York City

The Historic House Trust of NYC will partner with the Greater Hudson Heritage Network to support collections care, cleaning, and staffing needs as part of the ongoing reopening process for its network of 23 historic houses. The “History Unpaused” project will include virtual training sessions, volunteer assistance deployment, and emergency supply distribution to enable these sites to continue serving their communities. Training programs will focus on the care and management of historic collections and will specifically address COVID-19 mitigation techniques while also providing more general training in the proper cleaning and care of historic objects and interiors. A curatorial fellow will assist with creating online resource guides and video tutorials for historic house staff.
