Oneida Nation

The Oneida Nation of Wisconsin will rebuild its library operations that were curtailed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. During the height of the pandemic, the Oneida Nation was forced to cut staff and reduce hours and services at the main branch of its library (the Oneida Community Library), where only curbside pickup was available for patrons. The Tribe’s Green Earth Library branch was closed completely during this time. The main branch now will reopen fully, with curbside pickup available at the Green Earth Library branch. The libraries also will develop educational and literacy programming to help close education gaps created by the pandemic.
