Mobile Medical Museum

The Mobile Medical Museum in Mobile, Alabama, will produce and disseminate a series of eight short educational videos designed to help middle and high school students understand and cope with the COVID-19 pandemic, relate their experiences to those of previous generations, and document their experiences in oral history narratives for current and future researchers. The videos will be publicly accessible and incorporated into cross-disciplinary lesson plans for multiple grade levels. The museum will work with community partners to include underserved minority communities in the planning, production, instructional use, and evaluation of these resources. The museum designed this project to provide reliable scientific and historic information to the public and to support the emotional and psychological health of young people.
