The Westcott House in Springfield, Ohio, will implement a series of programs providing opportunities for audiences to ease back into in-person learning experiences following a period of intense virtual engagement during the pandemic. Programs will include design workshops, guided tours, and a series focused on the city as a work of art. The museum will also design a new training program to help staff and volunteer tour guides engage more diverse audiences. Finally, the project team will develop an actionable strategic plan to increase equity within the organization, both internally and externally. Through these public programs, the museum seeks to bring hope and resilience to its community of lifelong learners as they recover from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
