High Museum of Art

The High Museum of Art in Atlanta will overhaul its website to respond to community needs and ensure its programming is accessible to the broadest possible audience. Ongoing concerns about student learning loss due to the COVID-19 pandemic reinforces the importance of the museum’s website as a digital library for teachers and families. To create a robust online environment for classroom learning, the museum will engage and include Atlanta Public School teachers in the web redesign through focus groups and surveys. The website will implement new accessibility standards; make all lectures, tours, and workshops available online; ensure teacher resources are more searchable and accessible; enable teachers to book field trips online; and simplify camp registration.
