La Plaza de Cultura y Artes

La Plaza de Cultura y Artes, a museum and cultural center in Los Angeles, will continue to create and deliver high-quality educational and experiential programs and exhibitions to strengthen its outreach to underserved communities and help them recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. The center will produce and stream 10 episodes of the educational series “En Familia” and 144 episodes of the cultural program “En Casa.” It also will provide a venue for safe conversations about how the pandemic impacted the Latinx community, create a library of online content that can be shared and accessed by Latinx people who seek a connection to their heritage and community, work with school districts to offer content for students, and provide content to viewers about reopening and discussions around topics of importance to the community, such as healthcare, education, immigration, and business.
