Boise Art Museum

Boise Art Museum will hire 10 new instructors and one new program assistant to directly support recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic by rebuilding the museum’s mission-driven arts education programs, including a remote arts education program. Prior to the pandemic, the museum’s offerings represented Idaho’s only visual arts education program focused on original artworks and proven educational best practices, including interactive discussions and artmaking with students in preschool through high school. The revamped programs will take place in the museum, in classrooms, and via the museum’s mobile app, providing teachers maximum flexibility and the opportunity to reach 15,000 students. The museum will track progress based on program attendance, teacher advisory committee feedback, and evaluation results from students, teachers, and the curator of education.
