South Sioux City Public Library

The South Sioux City Public Library will advance digital inclusion and pandemic recovery by providing library users with improved access to computers and technology skills training. In addition to loaning hot spots, tablets, and laptops, services will include additional databases for jobseekers and students, classes on basic computer skills, and an upgraded PC reservation system. These resources will help bridge the digital divide in South Sioux City, where 24.4% of the population does not have a broadband subscription. The library’s Tech Center will also offer instructions in multiple languages and provide language-learning services, to meet the needs of the 57% of the local population that speaks a language other than English at home.
