Alpine Public Library

The Alpine Public Library in Brewster County, Texas, aims to improve childhood development and overcome setbacks resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic by enhancing its digital platforms and online services and upgrading the library’s digital literacy programs. The library—which services an area of approximately 6,000 square miles—will install interactive whiteboards to enhance both in-person and distance activities that promote reading and community engagement. They also will revitalize and expand their robotics program with more programmable robots, a maker space, and 3D printers. Students will be able to access library programs no matter where they live.
