Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County

The Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County in Glen Cove, New York, will conduct a multifaceted program to bring patrons back to its Louis Posner Memorial Library following a 14-month closure due to the pandemic. The center will create and disseminate materials to publicize the collection and will implement an outreach plan targeted to local universities, public schools, and other public libraries. A monthly book group meeting will encourage the local community to use the library’s resources. An online course will draw on library resources to help children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors research their family histories.
