Walters Art Museum

The Walters Art Museum will implement an outreach project to respond to and address the educational needs of students in the Baltimore area. The museum will hire two new positions, a Curriculum Resource Specialist and a School Programs Outreach Educator, create curriculum-aligned programs for students inspired by the museum's collection, provide outreach to educators, and develop dynamic evaluation and teaching plans to enhance the museum’s ability to reach students in a post-covid environment. The project will strengthen and redefine the relationship between schools and the Walters Art Museum to address the needs of students and educators in Maryland for curriculum-enhancing opportunities during the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
