Wiregrass Museum of Art

The Wiregrass Museum of Art in Dothan, Alabama, will strengthen and improve its collections records and object management. They plan to conduct a physical inventory of the collection’s approximately 1,100 items and hire a collections manager/registrar to ensure that the collection can be more extensively used to respond to community needs in education and lifelong learning. This will support continued preservation of the objects and increase access to them. They also plan to create a prioritized list of recommendations for short-term and long-term collections management needs, including conservation needs.
