Log Number: ARPML-250610-OMLS-22
The Pikes Peak Library District will develop digital skill training to meet a critical need for adults, ages 18 and older, who lack foundational digital literacy skills. The project, developed as a result of recent community needs assessment findings, will help patrons develop digital skills, build confidence using technology, and foster digital resilience thereby equipping individuals to participate in work, education, and civic life. The training will include 138 computer classes and 76 learning labs to build transferrable skills in essential areas and promote confidence and resilience in using technology. The digital skill training project will serve community members whose need was further exacerbated by the COVID-19 public health emergency.
