Baldwin County Library Cooperative

The Baldwin County Library Cooperative, Inc. (BCLC) will implement a Wi-Fi hotspot lending program through all 14 libraries as well as a bookmobile to serve Baldwin County, Alabama. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought to light the digital inequalities across the country and in our county in particular. With many services now being offered online, those without home internet services are being left behind; this project will address this need for reliable access to Broadband Internet. More specifically, the project will advance digital inclusion in the region by improving digital platforms, online services, digital literacy programs, and creating new processes and procedures to sustain a robust online environment.
