Baltimore Museum of Art

The Baltimore Museum of Art will implement two programs for students: Close Encounters (a multi-visit program in partnership with Baltimore City Public Schools for fourth grade students) and Literacy Through the Arts (an early learning program for Baltimore County pre-K through first grade students and administered in partnership with the county). Both programs, historically facilitated in person, were adapted to be virtual during the COVID-19 pandemic and have reached larger audiences than ever before. Given the positive feedback from students and teachers, the museum has made it a priority to provide hybrid versions of both programs as the museum and schools recover from the pandemic.
