Hillsborough Community College

At Hillsborough Community College, online learning has become a critical component of education during COVID-19, as has access to digital resources. Hillsborough’s project will connect students who need internet connectivity and computer resources with those assets. The college will provide six computers from a laptop vending kiosk to students who do not have adequate technology to engage in and complete their online coursework. It will contract with Laptops Anytime, which provides automated computer laptop dispensing services, to get devices into the hands of students, making it possible for students to access a computer when they need it. The project director will work with staff and the campus library deans to house and operate the kiosk.
