The Children's Museum in Oak Lawn, Illinois, will expand programs and services that contribute to the wellbeing of young children and families as they begin to recover from the stress and isolation created by the COVID-19 pandemic. The museum's Wee Ones Wednesday program for children 0–2 and their parents and caregivers, as well as sensory-friendly sessions for children with disabilities, will include additional support from practitioners in occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech pathology, and child psychology. The museum also will create a support group for parents with children 0–3 advised by child development and child psychology professionals.
