Norman Rockwell Museum

The Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, will collaborate with the Academy of Art University in San Francisco to build a virtual gallery template that will be used to present engaging, interactive virtual exhibitions. Museum staff will work with a team of students and professors from the academy to create a template that will allow the museum to create digital exhibitions related to what is being shown in the physical galleries and digital-only exhibitions. The museum created a robust presence online to serve patrons during the pandemic. The virtual gallery will provide a new tool to build on that work and improve the museum’s ability to serve a growing online audience, a need created and exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
