Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

The mission of the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is to inspire people to live in harmony with the natural world by fostering love, appreciation, and understanding of the Sonoran Desert. To fulfill this mission, the museum collaborates with a low-income school district to enhance the Life Science curriculum for all third, fifth and sixth graders. It partners with local high schools and colleges to engage students and community scientists in research on native bees and it collaborates with Tohono O’odham educators in camps and interpretive development for Tribal members.
