The Arizona State University Art Museum will partner with the Hispanic Research Center to create the Latinx Art & Culture Curatorial Fellows and Internship Program. The project will expand fellowship and internships opportunities, create a fully illustrated and bilingual text on Chicano/a/x prints and objects, and develop a cross-disciplinary online course on Chicano/a/x art history. The funds will support the purchase of exhibition materials and equipment, the publication of a text prepared by the fellows, travel to engage with a network of curators, and the production of an online course. The resulting outcomes include an expansion and diversifying of the museum curatorial field through job skill and professional network development.
