Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana

The Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americana (MACLA) in partnership with the San Jose State University and the Santa Clara University will develop curatorial fellowships for participants at American Latino museums. Project activities will include the planning, research, and installation of exhibitions showcased at MACLA, and conducting exhibition research on Latino contemporary artists. The three curatorial fellows will be mentored by professional curators and artists and engage in facilitated conversations with others in the field of contemporary Latino art. The outcome of this project will connect aspiring curators to other professionals in American Latino museums and produce 12 major visual art exhibitions.
