Mexic-Arte Museum

The Mexic-Arte Museum in partnership with central Texas universities will improve and formalize their Latino Museum Internship program. Project activities will include hands-on training for undergraduate students in distinct areas such as exhibition development, curatorial, education, and social and digital media. Project funds will support compensation for college and university interns and mentors as well as the hiring of an Education Curator who will oversee intern performance and experience. Each of the interns will complete a project in their respective museum department ranging from the production of an exhibition to the digitization and maintenance of the museum’s collection metadata.
