The Institute of Museum and Library Services will be hosting a Tribal Consultation to discuss President Biden’s Memorandum on Tribal Consultation and Strengthening Nation-to-Nation Relationships. This meeting will help inform IMLS's Nation-to-Nation consultation plan related to Executive Order 13175, Consultation and Coordination with Indian Tribal Governments.

Attending as a Tribal Leader
Invitations to participate are extended to all Tribal Leaders. If you are a Tribal Leader and wish to designate a proxy to attend in your place, please copy the proxy form (Word, 32KB) text onto Tribal letterhead and email it to Brianna Ingram at bingram@imls.gov by April 14. Your designee will then need to register at the Zoom link above.
You are welcome to invite anyone else from your Tribe to attend. There may also be representatives of Native organizations and others present as observers, in addition to IMLS staff.
If you would like to provide written comments, please send them to bingram@imls.gov by April 23.
Attending as an Observer
During the meeting, only officially designated representatives of federally recognized Tribes will be invited to speak, but anyone who wishes to observe may sign up to attend.
