Join the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and FEDLINK (Federal Library and Information Network) for an opportunity to hear from recent awardees of IMLS Native American Library Services Enhancement grants and to identify ways federal libraries can build support for the nation’s tribal libraries and information centers. Enhancement grants are competitive grants available to carry out activities that advance the programs and services of eligible Native American libraries.
Representatives from state, public, academic, special libraries, and library associations serving Native American populations are invited to register for this free showcase at IMLS. The session will be available by web conferencing for those who cannot attend in person.
Recent enhancement grant recipients will discuss their projects. They include:
- Joy Bridwell, The Chippewa Cree Tribe of the Rocky Boy Reservation
- Anne Heidemann, Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe
- Aaron LaFromboise, Blackfeet Tribe of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation
- Dolly Manuelito, Bishop Indian Tribal Council
