The State Library Administrative Agency (SLAA), formerly the State Library Agency (StLA), Survey provides information about the state library agencies in the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The SLAA may function as the state's public library at large, providing service to the general public and state government employees. Data on SLAAs complement data collected on public, academic, and school libraries.
