Statement from IMLS Acting Director on the IMLS Plan for Appropriations Lapse

Washington, DC--As many of you are aware, annual funding for the Federal Government expires at midnight on September 30.  I want to provide you an update on our planning for operations in the event that there is a lapse in appropriations. 

As part of our effort to keep our constituents apprised of planning efforts, we have posted to our website our plan for Agency Operations in the Absence of Appropriations. This document provides information on agency operations that could affect staff, current and potential grantees, contractors, organizations with cooperative agreements, and others.
