Pueblo of Nambe
Log Number: NAE-256793-OLS-24
The Nambe Pueblo Library of the Nambe Pueblo in New Mexico will enhance their library services and deliver programs including family literacy nights, book club meetings, reading to their after-school program, providing library time to the pueblo day school, hosting special events, holding computer classes, and collaborating with other departments within the tribe. They will also establish free libraries in community approved locations, supporting outreach to their community and its members. The library staff will ensure that books are readily available at these locations, giving library users access to books even when they aren’t able to come to the library. The Pueblo of Nambe will ultimately benefit from having these extra resources available for them, as well as the community of Pojoaque Pueblo.
