Discovery Center at Murfree Spring

Discovery Center at Murfree Spring will implement the "Building Foundations for Parent and Child Engagement" initiative - a project to better support the learning and development of children ages 3-5. The Center will work with community partners - including Read to Succeed, Linebaugh Public Library, and Murfreesboro City Schools Family Resource Center - to expand its understanding of local underserved and under-resourced families and to move efforts outside the museum's walls. The Center will leverage its mobile outreach experience and extensive pre-K programming to deliver additional programs so that parents and children can engage in exploration where they live.
