MN Dept of CFL/Library Development & Services

The Minnesota Department of Education- State Library Services will use funds under the CARES Act to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus; to expand digital network access, purchase internet accessible devices, and provide technical support services.  They will continue to support the goals of their Five-Year Plan for FY 2018-2022. In Minnesota, specific goals address 1) Library services and policies promoting barrier-free access; 2) Libraries contributing to the World's Best Workforce; 3) Libraries responding to diverse community needs; 4) Library value being measured and demonstrated; and 5) Libraries facilitating digital equity and literacy.
