Wisconsin Society Daughters of the American Revolution (Fort Winnebago Surgeons Quarters)

The Fort Winnebago Surgeons Quarters, a nationally registered historic site and museum, will initiate a series of activities to advance collections stewardship. Informed by a Collections Assessment for Preservation (CAP) report, the museum will monitor and improve environmental conditions in the building, draft and implement collections management and integrated pest management plans, and assess and rehouse collections on display. Museum staff will purchase environmental monitoring equipment and supplies, a HEPA vacuum, archival materials, and display enclosures. Staff will also participate in specialized collections care training.
