Research to Inform the American Latino History and Culture Program
La investigación para informar el programa de Historia y Cultura Latina Estadounidense
The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) contracted with the Urban Institute to conduct research to inform the development of a new American Latino History and Culture (ALHC) program that will promote the study and appreciation of American Latino life, art, history, and culture. The Urban Institute presented their research and recommendations to IMLS, based on listening sessions, interviews, a survey, and mapping of American Latino museums nationwide.
El Instituto de Servicios de Museos y Bibliotecas (IMLS, por sus siglas en ingles) contrató al Urban Institute para realizar investigaciones para informar el desarrollo del un nuevo programa de Historia y Cultura Latina Estadounidense (ALHC, por sus siglas en ingles) que promoverá el estudio y la apreciación de la vida, el arte, la historia y la cultura de los latinos estadounidenses. Los invitamos para escuchar al Urban Institute presentar sus investigaciónes y recomendaciones al IMLS, basadas en sesiones de escucha, entrevistas, una encuesta y un mapeo de los museos latinos estadounidenses en todo el país.
